Informational Resource
We are an information aggregator and way finding resource for Stanford students and the community to find the courses, research, events, student programs and other educational and engagement opportunities at Stanford related to democracy, civics, citizenship, governance, advocacy, politics and policy.
Connective Tissue
We are the connective tissue - a Hub - bringing together students, faculty, staff, alum and community leaders to support one another, share ideas and create new teaching, research and programming opportunities that strengthen our civic and democratic knowledge, values, habits and institutions.
Pathways to Government Service
We elevate and support educational and experiential pathways for civic learning and democratic engagement for our Stanford students, leveraging and celebrating the many different majors, minors, honors programs, internship opportunities, post-undergraduate fellowships and Stanford alum who have gone on to serve in government.
